Here are a couple of my posts from this week! So happy to be halfway done and closer to the weekend! Also ready to finish homework for the week and get through my first graders spelling and language tests! Lol! Louisiana’s best season is definitely Mardi Gras! All the king cakes, parades, fleur-de-lis! We like to party and celebrate in the South! I will forever be a southern girl. This year we didn’t do any of the bigger parades in our small city due to our boys being wild and crazy 😜 but we did celebrate at a little festival and had all the king cakes!!!! Let the good times roll!

Its a random combination, but just telling both sides of the story. The happy and the struggle. My beautiful, sweet, smart 7 year old gave his heart to Christ this past Sunday. He has been asking to be baptized for over a year now, but he just seems so young, so immature… not ready. He has ADHD and the struggle has been real. He has a hard time focusing, sitting still, following directions. But he has always had a loving heart, loved Jesus and had a relationship with God that I didn’t realize was possible at such a young age. So I said yes, and my oldest baby was baptized and I couldn’t be prouder! So anyone else struggling with behavior issues or anything regarding your kiddos, focus on the good, the happy and enjoy these moments as much as you can! 😍❤️💕🙏

So I am on the petite side/aka a shorty :)! So I basically have to get all of my pants and jeans hemmed. The nice thing about the frayed edge jeans is you can easily crop your jeans to the length you want and fray them yourself. For these Mother jeans I did just that. All you need are some good scissors and some tweezers!

This week I was feeling the valentines vibes! Wore pink all week! Even though I didn’t necessarily feel like I wore/had a lot of pink, it was surprisingly easy! 😂💕🎀🌸 Here are some snap shots!

So the invention of spanx leggings are life changing! 😂 Cute to wear as leisure wear but also you can dress up with cute sweaters, blouses and heels! Obviously they make you feel and look slimmer which is amazing! The other day my 7 year old noticed the high waist and when he asked where my belly button was I showed him and his response was “OMG mom, your belly is HUGE”!!! Lol I mean I know I am not the slimmest woman in the world but come on dude, anyones belly seems huge to you (he is a bean pole) but, it is true, these babies hold everything in which is wonderful! In love with these ankle crop fray jeans from Mother. I got mine from Nordstrom, I plan on wearing these A LOT this coming spring and summer!
